Ultrasound imaging and guidance in the management of knee osteoarthritis

Abstract

Most of the components in the knee joint may be evaluated with ultrasound, which is an effective imaging technique. Ultrasound is beneficial in a variety of regenerative medicine treatments, commencing with the biomaterial harvesting stage. It can thus/conveniently be utilized for the diagnosis and treatment of various kinds of knee osteoarthritis when interventions must be performed under Ultrasound guidance. We covered Ultrasound directed venous blood, bone marrow, and adipose tissue bioharvesting, Ultrasound evaluation of the knee joint and important findings in knee osteoarthritis, and Ultrasound guided regenerative therapies for the knee joint in this study.

Comprehensive Ultrasound Evaluation of the Knee

-Anterior Knee

-Medial Knee

-Lateral Knee

-Posterior Knee

Most of the components in the knee joint may be evaluated with ultrasound, which is an effective imaging technique. Additionally, it can thus/conveniently be used for the diagnosis and treatment of various forms of knee osteoarthritis where the interventions must be carried out under Ultrasound supervision, starting from the biomaterial harvesting stage of the processes.
